Killing time

I'm writing this to kill time while waiting for Mi Amor to get back from work. He said he'd be back by 5pm coz he wanted to take me to the train station so that I can apply for some discount travel pass thingy and the  office closes at 6pm! Guess I won't be making my card today then :(


We're going out later with around 6 of his colleagues to watch footie (yes, live footie...at a stadium). Don't know the full details as to where exactly the stadium is and who is even playing (hey, I just go with the flow....I don't have a choice coz he bought the tickets without consulting me :P). If I'm not mistaken though, I think the game is in Geneva and Argentina is playing against Portugal (why are they playing against each other I don't know....World Cup qualifiers?).


Anyway, haven't been up to much to blog about (the most I've been up to is cooking and cleaning) so I'll just put up random photos in the mean time (you're not complaining are you? heh). 

 

We both wanted something light for dinner last night so I made fish fillet with lemon sauce and some stir fried buttered veggies 

After dinner we went to do the laundry at the apartment's laundry room located in the basement. Everyone in the apartment gets a laundry slot and Mi Amor's is every Tuesday from 8-10pm I think.

I do laundry often at home but our washing machine isn't complicated like this one ( already I don't like this machine :P). Why do you need so many confusing buttons? Just a Start and Stop one would suffice !

After being in the washing machine for an hour, we had to go back down to the laundry room to put the clothes in the dryer (which took another hour). All in all that's 6 trips back and forth from our apartment to the laundry room just to do laundry

As much as Mi Amor liked the fish I made for dinner last night, he was craving for Asian food (you can take the boy out of Asia but you can't take the Asian out of him :P) so I cooked rice with 2 side dishes for lunch today.  Dish 1: Sweet sour beef

Dish 2: Stir fried mixed veggies in  oyster sauce

Oh Oh.....remember the surprise I told you in my last post that I came across while cleaning the cupboard? Well.....it's actually for our wedding anniversary.....and we'll be going tooooooo *drum roll pleaseeeeeee*

BARCELONA !!!!!!

We're leaving tomorrow morning...yay! :D 
..Ok Mi Amor's back...and we're late...gotta gooo...ADIOS!!
